The Perfect Jump

Dog and handler are at the very end of the deck over 30’ ft long leading to the pool which stretches out for another 40’ in front of them.  All around and on the viewing platforms there are excited spectators jam-packed to get a view.

Your dog certainly knows what its all about and pulls you towards the pool.  You hold him back – just.  You wait for Gwain down by the pool.

Gwain calls your dog and shows him his favourite toy or ball.  The crowd shouts Go! Go! Go! and after you release him your dog thunders down the deck towards Gwain who just before your dog reaches him throws the toy way out over the clear blue pool.

Hopefully your dog doesn’t continue in a straight line – that would be ok, not a plop, but not good enough to win today.  Instead he arches upwards following the trajectory of the perfectly thrown toy.

Up and up until gravity takes a hand and he descends, tucks in his legs and hits the water well over 20’ from the launch point!  Your dog swims to the ramp, the crowd cheers, he shakes himself, wags his tail, runs up the deck barks and pleads - Please just one more time!!

Be warned Dash ‘N’ Splash is very addictive for dogs and handlers alike.
