1. Pool

The special pool was imported by MDS and it measures 40’ long, 10’ wide and 4’ deep.  It has an antislip full depth ramp one side to enable dogs to easily get out.  It is supported above ground by bracing and staging.  Clean water is essential for filling (and it takes some filling as it contains over 10,000 gallons!).  The pool has a pump and filtration system specifically designed for dogs and the water is treated and tested before and during use.

2. Deck

The deck leading to the pool is over 30’ long, 4’ wide and 5’ high.  It has side safety barriers with a mesh infill and steps for easy access.  The deck is covered with special foamed anti slip matting.

3. Measuring Equipment

Electronic distance measuring system using the latest technology with an integrated visual display for the public.

4. Viewing Platforms

Each platform is 8’ x 4’ and they are installed with safety barriers adjacent to the pool.

5. Hospitality Trailer / Marquee

This is situated along side the pool and houses all the auxiliary equipment and professional P.A. system.

The equipment used for Dash ‘N’ Splash is transported in dedicated trailers and a typical ‘build up’ will take 3 days.  ‘Strip down’ will normally be 2 days.  The supply of water is normally by large bore pipes or bowser.  A normal hose pipe will not suffice unless you’ve got a week or so to wait!
